IP3 accredited Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistic Management

This course focuses on an overview of oil and gas logistics and procurement management in organizations based on the concept of supply chain management (SCM). Traditionally industries focus on operation evaluation and performance improvement of business processes; however, the deficiency of supply chain coordination results in severe downgrade of business competitiveness. The course is designed to prepare participants to apply concepts, strategies, and information technology in supply chain management in oil and gas industry.

The course will help participants to gain a broader perspective of the oil & gas upstream, midstream and downstream operations through the concept of Supply Chain Value Management to improve economics, safety, and environmental considerations; and boost their understanding of competitive and strategic supply chain operations: oil & gas production, shipping, refining, storage, demand forecasting, contracts, prices, distribution; be able to classify the products of the company according to their significance for logistics management; carry out case study and project on information access, information coordination, and information processing for supply chain management in oil and gas industry.
