Admission Requirements
Criteria for Admission and Selection Procedure
The program is open to Ugandans and Non-Ugandans who fulfil the admission requirements. The requirements described below are only the minimum academic conditions for admission and only make one eligible for consideration. A candidate is eligible for admission if he/she possesses any of the following:
In order to be eligible for admission, a candidate must have sat and passed:
a) At least five credit passes in UCE or its equivalent at the same sitting.
b) At least one principal pass and two subsidiary passes at Advanced level obtained at the same sitting in either science or Arts subjects or its equivalent. Essential subjects are Economics, Mathematics, Entrepreneurship and Physics. Relevant subjects are Geography, Literature and History, Desirable subjects are Chemistry and computer applications.
c) Persons holding a good diploma with at least a Second-class lower division, from a recognized institution can be admitted to 2nd year for a bachelor's degree, with the provision that they will be required to take some courses from the 1st year that the Faculty Board will have identified and deemed mandatory.
2.Holders of Other Qualifications
v Mature Age Entry Scheme
a) A candidate must be at least 25 years of age and should have passed a mature age entry examination conducted by National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) or an institution accredited by NCHE.
b) The eligible candidate must have got at least one principal pass at A’level in relevant subjects and 5 passes in UCE. They should have been obtained at the same sitting not consecutive sittings.

What You Will Learn
Following successful completion of the Diploma in Procurement and Logistics Management programme, the learner is expected to have:
Explain the basic areas of procurement and logistics management, specifically explore; the principles, objectives, methods and procedures of procurement and logistics for use by procurement and logistics personnel in organizations.
Digest and solves practical problems faced in procurement and logistical process of their organizations.
Undertake planning initiatives, market research, analytical assignments, and generally manage organizations, contracts, procurement, and logistics activities.
Demonstrate the use of information technology and systems in procurement and logistics management through solving practices problems and enhancement of supply chain agility and effectiveness.
