Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the Victoria University Diploma in Human Resource Management program, you need to meet the following entry requirements:
Direct entrant with Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent, and at least 1 A’ level advanced principle pass taken at the same sitting; and/or Diploma from a recognized institution of Higher learning; or A pass in mature-age examination.
Admission other than to the first year of the program shall require a special resolution of the Faculty Board and permission of the Senate. The department will work out all appropriate Credit transfers, which shall not exceed 40% of the minimum degree Credit units.
Persons holding a good diploma with at least a Second-class lower division, from a recognized institution can be admitted to 2nd year for a bachelor's degree, with the provision that they will be required to take some courses from the 1st year that the Faculty Board will have identified and deemed mandatory.
Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate a proficiency in the English language by passing an English proficiency Test conducted by the University.
