Entrance Requirements

The Health Informatics programme is designed around a range of learning pathways to meet the needs of students from health care/computing-related backgrounds. To qualify for admission, one must first satisfy the general entry requirements for Master‘s degrees admission to Victoria University.  In addition, the candidate must be a holder of either;

  • 1.     At least a Second Upper Bachelor‘s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Systems, Computer/Software Engineering, Statistics/Mathematics or any other computing-related area or other STEM-related Degree from a recognized Higher Institution of Learning.

    2.     Bachelor‘s Degree in medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, and any other health care- related degree from a recognized Higher Institution of Learning.

    3.     At least a Second Upper (if classified) Postgraduate Diploma in Health informatics or a health care/computing-related area from a recognized Higher Institution of Learning.
